The project draws inspiration from the shape of the traditional Korean furniture, “So-ban.” Through the use of mirrors, the graceful curves of the old So-ban become a natural part of our daily lives. When not in use, the mirror hung on the wall evokes the peaceful scene of So-ban quietly resting against the kitchen wall, reminiscent of a bygone era. Through the objects we use in our daily lives, we can interpret and even unconsciously feel the culture.
